National Aviary of Colombia

50 minutes away from Cartagena's Old City is located this modern and magnificent ecological destination, the National Aviary of Colombia, which has 21 exhibitions represented in large immersion aviaries, radial aviaries, open enclosures, swamps and lakes in vegetable and water landscape environments.

In an unidirectional tour of approximately two hours, visitors will find three ecosystems that allow to observe a unique and wonderful collection of birds, 170 species and about 2000 specimens, which will surely photograph to take the diversity of this country in their memories.

This is the perfect place for ecotourism, it recreates environments of tropical rainforest with waterfalls, streams and thick vegetation. The visitors enter the aviary through a 6 meters of height raised trail, that allows  to observe 40  species of birds and enjoy a day surrounded by the birdlife.

The diversity of birds is one of the most important tourist attractions of the country to offer to tourists lovers of nature.
