1. Oceanarium

Approximately 45 minutes from Cartagena de Indias we find this incredible Oceanarium, located in the Islas del Rosario, a place to enjoy all the wonders, beauties and colors of marine life, as well as to observe an emotional aquatic show of marine species that invite you to go in the water with them and take your own pictures.

2. Guillermo Piñeres Botanical Garden

30 minutes from Cartagena de Indias we find one of the most important ecological attractions of the region with more than 300 species of plants of the Colombian Caribbean. This Botanical Garden has a forest that springs from a very special spring of water. It is an ideal place to get to know and learn about the fauna and flora of the Colombian Caribbean.

3. National Aviary of Colombia

From the Cartagena's downtown you will reach bird life wonder in 50 minutes. Three ecosystems with a unique and wonderful bird collection, 170 species and almost 2000 specimens. Recreated environments of tropical rain forest with waterfalls, streams and thick vegetation that enchant all visitors.

4. Corales del Rosario National Natural Park

23 kilometers south of Cartagena de Indias. This totally marine natural park is enchanted by its magical landscapes, crystalline waters and valuable underwater ecosystem. 5. Volcán del Totumo

Bathing in warm, sulfuric waters and immersing yourself in the mineral-rich mud from head to toe is possible at the Totumo Volcano, located in Galerazamba, Santa Catalina village 40 minutes away from Cartagena. The access is through a rustic wooden staircase of more than 40 steps, when you reach the highest point you can enjoy the properties of the mud and a good massage.
