Along with my adventurous friend, my Trek bike, and biker team, we set off on a sunny day, which reached 32°C temperature, towards the Turbaco-Arjona road, 20 minutes from Cartagena de Indias, finding the "Aguas Vivas Bike Park", a track of international stature, with all the most extreme challenges for us who are passionate about Mountain Bike.
3.5 kilometers of track, almost 2 hours crossing it, between open fields, mountainous terrain, and rural trails, my team and I were able to overcome each challenge.
"Pista, pista", we shouted to each other to give space to other bikers, so we all could enjoy this track. There are bikers from other cities and even international; all types, children, young people and adults come to this track, which without doubt must be traversed carefully.
We did a competition in circuits facing nature, mountains, narrow and uncovered roads, with sharp slopes and very rapid descents, reaching up to the obstacles that the bicycle and our body allowed us.
With the muscles contracted, but living a new and excellent experience, I realized that the track had finished, that we were able to make the full tour of this striking landscape. Great open option for all bikers who want to travel.
We enjoy every pedaling, the biking helps us have keep healthy, plus we meet new friends in each route and we get to experience new sensations.
