In search of a very good place for recreation, we arrived at the Crespo Malecón Linear Park, which we reached by taking the Vía Santander, up to the Aguirre bridge. Just two minutes away from the Historical Center, you can find this structure, the largest in Cartagena de Indias. 14 hectares of recreation and dispersion available for locals and visitors.
This work, in addition to a tunnel that decongests traffic in the area, has a bridge, an extensive beach, bike path, jogging path, extreme skating rink, soccer fields, beach volleyball, beach soccer, multiple courts, outdoor gym, and a whole extensive area available for enjoyment. It is a really organized place, and it has an explicit regulation code that meets all the urbanity standards that allow the place to be taken care of and ensure the sustainable use of this space.
It is a quiet place on the shore of the beaches of Crespo, currently, prohibited for bathers. On our tour we did not find any street vendors, amen for our tranquility. Its open hours go from 4 in the morning to 10 at night.
In this public space we enjoyed an afternoon full of recreation and entertainment. It ended with a picnic taking advantage of the wonderful sunset. Do not forget that in Crespo you can find a space designed and dedicated to the recreation of the body and the spirit.
