Jetsemani is pleased to have the opportunity to assist you with planning your group's travel to Cartagena!

Below is a high level set of recommendations. Jetsemani will look forward to getting your feedback and continuing to refine this proposal as you select certain options and again as the number of guests continues to firm up.

Jetsemani is able to customize each of your visitors itineraries in various ways as they sign up allowing them to select different levels of luxury, price and occupancy in the various hotels. We can quickly and easily add individual items like a massage or museum visit to some visitors itinerary, but not others allowing each visitor’s price to vary according to his or her preferences.

We will customize maps, flight plans, hotel reservations, itineraries, and other information in an app and/or web page where you can communicate any changes instantly to your group.

The proposal is broken into 6 parts:

ITINERARY

DAY 1 – Arrival to Cartagena de Indias & Welcome Cocktail

• 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. - Arrival at Rafael Núñez International Airport. Transfer Service
• 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. - Departure from the Rafael Núñez International Airport to your hotel or colonial house.
• 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. - This night you will enjoy your hotel, welcome coconut lemonades and rest.

DAY 2 – Inside the city: History, typical food and a marvelous sunset

• 10:00 a.m. - Welcome to Cartagena de Indias! Get ready with comfortable clothes and sneakers or sandals for the city tour. You will enjoy a complete tour of the modern Cartagena and the historic and colonial city in a trolley with stops on the main places.
• 1:30 p.m. - Lunch at the restaurant of your choice.
  *The afternoon will be free until the dinner, so you can visit museums, parks, stores or differents attractions that you will find close to your hotel. Our concierge staff will be available to help guests pick activities some of which are listed in this plan.
• 7:00 p.m. - Welcome cocktail at the hotel with local musicians.
• 8:00 p.m. - Dinner reservations at the restaurant of your choice.

DAY 3 – Rosario’s Island Yacht Tour

• 10:00 a.m. - Party on board a Luxury Yacht for 25 people (Open bar, Snacks, and DJ).
  Departure from the Cartagena Docks (The exact boat will depend on the number of people attending). You will start a tour through the Caribbean Sea and visit some of the most beautiful Islands near to Cartagena.
  Matamba Island is located in Islas Del Rosario Natural National Park, approximately 40-45 minutes from Cartagena de Indias. The entire house is decorated in a tropical style with eco-friendly palm roofs equipped with fans and bathrooms that enjoy a sea view. We also include free towels and toiletries.
• 1:30 p.m. - Caribbean Lunch at the Cholón Island
• 5:00 p.m. - Arrival at the Dock and return to the hotel to take a rest and change clothes for dinner.
• 8:00 p.m. - Dinner at the restaurant in the Old City.

Enjoy the crystalline waters of Rosario Islands with a private yacht or boat, and a great dinner in the restaurants that Cartagena has to offer you.

DAY 4 – Morning at leisure, Massage, Lunch and Dinner included

*You can book any activity of the options you will find at the end of the proposal.

• 2:00 p.m. - Lunch at the restaurant of your choice.
• 5:00 p.m. - It's time to have a relaxing massage at the hotel before continuing the party at night.
  Time of massage: 60 minutes. If you want to have the massage in the Santa Clara or other Spa there will be an extra cost.
• 8:00 p.m. - Dinner at the restaurant in the Old City.
• 10:00 p.m. - Party in Cartagena visiting various bars.

DAY 5 – Sunny day at Blue Apple Beach House

• 10:00 a.m. - Please meet in the lobby after the breakfast. A car will pick you up to take you to the Dock to start the trip to Tierra Bomba Island. This exclusive escape which takes notes from the SoHo House brand has injected some much needed life into the seriously underrated Tierra Bomba Island, which thanks to retreats like this one, has now put its gentrification skates on.
  Their extravagant restaurant menu, lively bar and poolside DJ sessions on the weekend has proven to be a winning formula for well-heeled locals and foreigners alike who come here for their legendary day pass.
  
• 1:00 p.m. - Lunch at the Beach House is included.
• 4:30 p.m. - Arrival at the Doc and return to the hotel to take a rest and change clothes for the dinner.
• 8:00 p.m. - Farewell Dinner at the restaurant of your choice.

DAY 6 – Goodbye Cartagena de Indias

• 9:00 p.m. - Please meet in the lobby to check-out and get ready for your transport to the airport. It was a great pleasure to assist you in cartagena Cartagena de Indias.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES (a la carte)

Totumo Volcano and mud bath day trip (Volcán del Totumo)

For adventurous souls who love the idea of swimming in a crater full of warm mud. Enjoy a relaxing mud massage and a hilarious experience swimming with the rest of your newfound friends on this fun shared tour to the north of Cartagena.

Carriage ride

There’s really no better way to see Cartagena than seated in a horse drawn carriage. It’s the perfect way to experience this historic city as you would have two or three hundred years ago. Carriages are available almost anywhere throughout the city and can accommodate groups of four. Larger parties can reserve multiple carriages in travel in a sort of wagon train throughout this historic Caribbean vacation getaway.

Emerald Tour

Travelers from around the world visit Cartagena to admire its beauty. But there's more to Cartagena besides its sights. Did you know Colombia is the world's largest emerald producer? Find out all about Cartagena's emerald history on this fun tour.

Art Buying Tour

Enjoy a morning or an afternoon visiting the most beautiful places where you can buy souvenirs or art in some hottest galleries on the city. A tour you will have fun with everything you will see.

A ride in CHIVAS

The Chiva is a colourful wooden bus with onboard musicians and cheering people. Colombia's public transport of old, turned to good use shuttling tourists and revelers around the city in the most warmly Cartagenian way possible.

Panoramic Express Tour in a car

Private vehicle tour with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes (Express). This includes travel panoramic view of the residential districts of Bocagrande, Castillogrande and the Republican quarter of Manga where can appreciate the houses of the old time. Continues with the visit to “Monastery of the Popa” Built at the beginning of the XVII century. From the top you can see the city. Visit to the Fort of San Felipe de Barajas, the largest Spanish military building in the New World, magnificent work of military engineering. Then, they will show you the walled city and you can know the main streets, squares and churches.

Caribbean Traditional Cooking Classes

Spend a few hours with one of the city’s renowned chefs, as he shares his recipes, stories and secrets behind every dish. Classes are hosted privately for each group, at a colonial house within the old city walls. Available in Spanish, English & French.

Private Salsa and Dance Lessons

Let the music and the Caribbean flavor resonate throughout your body. Salsa classes in all styles and levels, champeta, bachata, lady style and other Latin rhythms. An experience that will be very difficult to forget!

Intermediate Diving Experience

Explore the deep green waters of the Rosario’s Island close to Cartagena de Indias. Two dives with professional equipment and the support of an experienced guide.
