Each station implies a new challenge for chef Juan Jiménez of the InterContinental Cartagena Hotel, who is responsible for the selection and preparation of the menu in Kanuú restaurant, a place that is widely accepted among locals and visitors, for the innovation and creativity of their dishes, and for its quality and freshness.
For this new season, the holiday tourism yields and gives way to travelers of conventions and events, so the Kanuú Restaurant menu is renewed and adds 22 new dishes that combine the flavors of the native cuisine of Cartagena and the Caribbean with InterContinental cuisine, worldly renowned for the expertise to integrate the best of each culture into the good table.
Among the novelties that chef Juan Jiménez brings to the table, there is the red snapper fillet in yellow chili pepper, a loin sauteed in the wok, and the red curry prawns marinated and served with pineapple and peppermint, the latter dish that is already outlined among the most desirable. For those who prefer vegetarian specialties, the Kanuú Restaurant menu brings vegetable chaufa rice, oriental rice pasta with vegetables, Chinese roots and cashew, and Portobolo carpaccio, among other specialties.
Located on the 6th floor of the InterContinental Cartagena Hotel, the Kanuú Restaurant is open daily for continuous lunch and dinner service.
