Stereococo: The Musical Experiment

Friday March 25, at La Terraza Cartagena, 4 high-quality local and emerging artists will be exhibiting the best of their music.

In this experimental session, Juan Torres, an expert on African sounds will delight the crowd with his guitar, alongside Arnoldo Mondol Quintana, one of the best picoteros DJ’s. Mima Rasta a cartagenera singer will debut 4 of her original songs and covers of Soka and Zouk Love; Open Mind Groove, with its explosive mixture of jazz, afrobeat and caribbean sounds will be in the house; and finally, Dj Fetch will bring a set of tropical rhythms full of salsa and champed.

This event is inspired by the important Caribbean Music Festival that was held in the 70s and 80s in the Plaza de los Toros or in Las Tenazas.
