The race will take place on Sunday, March 22, starting at 5:30 a.m. and the departure will be made from the headquarters of the Government of Bolívar. Its main objective, in addition to playing sports and generating fun, is to gather food and toiletries to support shelter homes for children with cancer.
"The idea arises from the need to support Funvivir, a foundation of our city that supports children and adolescents with cancer in the Caribbean Region. Taking advantage of the rise of running in the city and the good heart that the runners have, We wanted to make a race with the purpose of collecting food, and the surprise is that many runner friends joined without any problem," explains Evelyn Majul, leader of the Corre Cartagena team, one of the organizers.
