Exhibition Cooperación Española
On Thursday,
March 12 at 6:00 p.m., in the framework of the
Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival (FICCI), on its 60th edition, there will be the opening of the photographic exhibition "
Eduardo La Rata Carvajal. Cali: Fotofijaciones" (Cali: Photofixations).

This gallery, with
more than 120 photos, covers the memory of almost fifty years of film shoots that Eduardo Carvajal has taken with his camera. Eduardo, known in the cinematographic world as "La Rata", has been a testimony of an era, of several generations, of fascinating groups of technicians and creators who have been in charge of building the history of
audiovisuals in Colombia.
The camera of "La Rata" lives with Andrés Caicedo, Luis Ospina, Carlos Mayolo and all '
The Group of Cali', at a time when the capital of the department of Valle del Cauca becomes the best place in the country to make movies, so much that it was renamed "
Caliwood".

"
Cali: Fotofijaciones" is an exhibition in the Cooperación Española that presents a black and white tour of that golden age of Colombian cinema, where image and sound workers are the only protagonists of the snapshots.
“La Deriva Cósmica” ((The Cosmic Drift)
In addition to hosting this unique tribute to the Cali Group, the exhibition reserves a privileged place for the work of the master Carlos Jacamanijoy that has inspired this
FICCI 60, The Cosmic Drift. The canvas, impregnated with the smells, colors, sounds and flavors of the jungles of Putumayo, recalls the reflection made by the FICCI on its 60th anniversary on the relationship between human beings and the planet Earth.
The photo sample, free of charge, can be visited from Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays and holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Exhibition Cooperación Española available throughout March.
