InterContinental Sunset 7K

Cartagena de Indias is getting ready to receive, on Saturday, February the 23^rd, more than 1.000 participants who will attend the second version of the InterContinental Sunset 7K.

Athletes from all corners of Colombia, and especially from the Caribbean Coast, Cali, Bogotá, and Medellín, will have the opportunity to compete in one of the six established categories, while the sun goes down, in a distance of 7 kilometers surrounding the coastal area of the “Bocagrande”, “Castillogrande”, and “El Laguito” neighborhoods.

The race seeks to encourage physical exercise and outdoor recreation, with the attendance of friends, parents and children, amateur and professional teams. It also supports the community to build the new temple of “Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro”.

Participants will receive from “Corre Pasión”, the organizing company, an athletic kit and several gifts from the sponsors. In addition, the first three male and female places, in each category, will be awarded in the winners’ podium.

Route of the InterContinental Sunset 7K

The circuit starts from “Carrera” 1 in Bocagrande, in front of the InterContinental Hotel. It takes the “Avenida Almirante Brión” and the return road from “El Laguito” until the competitors reach the “Calle” 5 in Castillogrande towards the “Club Naval”. From there, it takes the “Avenida Chile” until it reaches the “Calle” 10 and return by “Carrera” 1 until the finish line at the InterContinental Hotel.

Registration

Registration is open until Thursday, February the 21^st, at www.correpasion.com or at the Nao Fun Shopping Center, with an admission value of:

• COP $65.000 individual.
• COP $55.000 groups or teams that register more than 10 runners.

The personalized attention schedule for those who prefer it, goes from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
