“Goût de France” at the Restaurant 1621

The Restaurant 1621 of the Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Hotel is pleased once again to be part of the select group of restaurants around the world that will make, on March 21, the great world event "Goût de France" that seeks to pay homage to French gastronomy, declared by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Goût de France is an event that takes place by the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, in which the French Gastronomy Day, considered a patrimonial of humanity, is celebrated. Every March 21, French restaurants and hotels worldwide propose and offer of a French tasting menu that becomes a feast of flavors of French cuisine.

For this year, the event proposes to the chefs to focus on a healthier and more responsible menu with the environment, taking as the center of attention and inspiration, the city of Provence.

For that evening, our Executive Chef, Dominique Oudin, will celebrate French gastronomy through a menu that includes, among other dishes, lacquered tuna with vanilla, salmon tartare, quail à la royale, bitter chocolate Pavlova with creamy strawberries cooked with champagne. The dinner will be accompanied by a wide selection of French and Colombian breads and cheeses.

Dinner will be served from 7:00 until 10:30 p.m., and will have a value of 180,000 COP per person, taxes included. If you want to pair your dinner with the exclusive selection of wines from the cava, an additional value of 100,000 COP will be added.
