The "Fried table" of Kanúu Restaurant in Cartagena

From January the 24th to February the 3rd, the InterContinental Hotel’s restaurant, Kanúu, offers locals and visitors the typical fried table prepared by the renowned “fritanguera” (fried master) Marina Torres, winner of the “Festival del Frito” 2016, who is the guest chef to celebrate the religious festivities, the “Fiestas de la Virgen de La Candelaria”, which take place in the beautiful Cartagena de Indias.

Kanúu restaurant, on its continuous service of breakfast, lunch and dinner, presents an additional menu that includes the fried delicacies of Cartagena, such as “empanada con huevo”, “buñuelo de frijol”, “carimañolas”, “patacón”, and the famous “empanaditas turbaqueras”, freshly elaborated for a true feast with the most traditional popular cuisine of Cartagena.
