Festival of Arts

The Festival of Arts is a meeting place for creative ideas and innovations generated by young students, who through their artistic, academic and cultural expressions validate elements of Caribbean cultural identity and its various components.

TRIBUTE TO GARCIA MARQUEZ

For Tuesday, May 13 , at 4 pm, will pay tribute to the Nobel laureate , Gabriel García Márquez, with an artistic parade will depart around the Naval Museum and tour the main streets of the walled area where live will present paintings , inspired by the works of the Colombian author .

The Festival will have musical performances , art exhibitions , product displays , artistic parade, plays, displays of posters, graffiti exhibition , among other cultural activities , in different areas of the city as the Mall Plaza, Plaza de San Diego, Unibac , among others.

Academic strip with the participation of international experts from the likes of Joan Costa , one of the theorists and critics of the world's most recognized visual communication ; and Jimmy Rangel , choreographer of Cirque Du Soleil, who will offer a workshop on physical training and show, directed actors and dancers. Likewise , talks on intellectual property rights and free , cultural entrepreneurship will be offered , among other topics.
