Fair Kadume Suto

From this Thursday 12th until May 29th, the VIII craft fair and ethno-cultural "Kadume Suto" will begin in the historic center of the city, in the middle of the Plaza de Los Coches.

"Kadume Suto" is a phrase of palenquero language meaning "Our ways", a tribute to the history of a culture rich in colors, sincere smiles and peerless magic.

Among those in charge of the event are Mercado Negro Artesanías, is a production unit of the SURCOS Foundation of Cartagena de Indias, which seeks to promote the products of small and medium artisans such as fabrics, embroideries, in porcelanicrom, jewelry, clothing, costume jewelry, sculptures, acetates, backpacks, shoes, plastic arts, and leatherwork and wood, etc.

It will be appreciated a full agenda of music, dance, theater, literature, among other expressions, which will seek to enhance the cultural past, present and future of African descent people in the city.
