Literature, visual arts, cinema, music, geopolitics, journalism and more, are mixed in an atmosphere of dialogue and celebration.
After 11 years, during which the festival has become one of the most important literary events in the Hispanic world, in 2017 will be held the twelfth edition.
The XII Hay Festival Cartagena de Indias 2017 will count with the important presence of important figures like Simon Sebag Montefiore, Andrea Wulf, Hisham Matar, Phil Manzanera, Cesar Aira, Carmen Aristegui, Fernando Aramburu, Joël Dicker, Henry Marsh, James Rhodes, Liniers, Leonardo Padura, Maylis de Kerangal and Ana María Machado, among many others.
In addition to the events in Cartagena, the cities of Riohacha and Medellín will be part of the agenda of this edition of the Hay Festival.
