The repertoire of ‘A Mi Manera’ includes classical music, soundtracks melodies, American folk music, and a great novelty is the symphonic champeta. It is the first time an Symphony Orchestra joins a group of champeta, achieving a unique musical approach.
Some history
Bolívar Symphony Orchestra (BSO) was founded in 2002 as part of the Master degree program in Music from the University Institution Arts and Sciences Bolívar, created by David Sacra Nader. Its mission is to be a cultural ambassador of consecrated to symphonic and operatic dissemination in the department and throughout the Caribbean Colombian music.
