Castillo de San Felipe: Nocturnal cultural offer

With the goal of providing a cultural and novel experience to visitors of the Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, the Ministry of Culture and the Workshop School Cartagena de Indias (ETCAR), present a new cultural offer, in this case a nocturnal one, for this icon of La Heroica.

"This new cultural activity will promote the understanding, interpretation and enhancement of this construction by visitors, who will be spectators of artistic presentations whose themes revolve around the Fortifications and some important events in Cartagena de Indias, in a scenario that takes us to other times while we fall in love", says Álvaro Gómez Poveda, general director of the ETCAR.

This initiative seeks that local, national and foreign visitors can enjoy theatrical and musical shows in a night time, during which, the fortress acquires a magical and unique environment that will undoubtedly remain in the minds of the spectators. The show will start at 8:00 p.m.

The tickets to attend the first function of the night cultural offer of the Castillo de San Felipe, will be available from Friday, March 29 at the box office of the monument, which will be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and from 6:30 p.m. until 7:45 p.m., just for this day.
