The Training Center of Spanish Cooperation will be the setting for the official opening of the 2nd African Film Showcase (MUICA). The event will be from May 24 starting at 5:30pm until May 30 at 5:30pm, with the screening of Mama Africa , A documentary directed by Mika Kaurismäki about South African activist and singer Miriam Makeba.
The closing of MUICA 2017 will take place next Wednesday, May 31, at 5:30 pm, at the Training Center of Spanish Cooperation with the screening of Something Necessary, a film directed by the renowned filmmaker Judy Kibinge around the postconflict In Kenya and the importance of forgiveness.
