8th Cartagena International Guitar Festival

The Cartagena International Guitar Festival is an annual meeting of national and foreign guitarist musicians that contributes to La Heroica, consolidating itself as a high-level cultural and tourist center.

It is an event that encourages the knowledge and enjoyment of music performed with guitar by renowned musicians, and it is also a stage for the promotion of young Colombian and Cartagena talents who are looking for an opportunity to show their work.

The Festival, which will take place between October 14 and 17, is also a time of conciliation and solidarity, since it is mostly open to the public and free, allowing the inhabitants of Cartagena and those who visit us, enjoy the best music in unique settings, true jewels of the world heritage and the entire city.

The Cartagena International Guitar Festival was born with the greatest enthusiasm and with the conviction that we can all contribute to the reconciliation process in Colombia and especially in Cartagena de Indias, our beloved city, animated by the music that moves our hearts and out of the desire to exalt and stimulate those who have not found the right setting to make their dreams come true.

Motivated by the support of the city and the visitors who attended the concerts in the first four editions and had the opportunity to listen to great world musicians and national and international talents with great projection, we reached its 8th edition.
