Cartagena, a magic adventure by “@olarviajante”

Out of the 33 days travelling around Colombia, Laura y Luiz took 13 days to enjoy Cartagena de Indias, or as they call it, "the Colombian jewel". They chose to come to Cartagena because of the good impression they got when they saw the photos of other travelers in Cartagena, as well as the recommendations of the best internet portals.Balcones-de-Cartagena Upon arrival they were impressed by the contrast of the walls in the walled city and the large and elegant buildings of modern Cartagena. The Getsemaní neighborhood and the Historical Center made the adventure for this couple from Brazil, writing a magical episode. They got to meet many travelers, filled their pictures with lots of color, enjoyed a night life full of fun, and tasted the best dishes of the city.

Among the most recommended plans in Cartagena they shared the following: Visit the beautiful “Playa Blanca”; spend amazing days in San Bernardo Island; immerse in the Volcano of “Totumo”, where you can enjoy the health and beauty benefits of the mud; navigate in canoes through mangrove tunnels; walk the beautiful streets of the Getsemaní neighborhood to admire its colorful facades. About the Historical Center, they claim that every corner deserves a photograph.turista-en-playas-de-Cartagena

@Olarviajante was born after Laura traveled abroad for volunteer work. She returned full of learning and with a new and great dream: To know the world, always approaching the local culture. Her desire infected Luiz, her boyfriend. Together, the couple of Brazilians began making many trips in their own country and in Eastern Europe. Currently, they explore Latin America. Today, back in Brazil, they remember Cartagena de Indias with plenty of nostalgia, and they include it on the list of cities to visit again. On their return to La Heroica, because they are sure they will return, they cannot wait to enjoy, once again, their new culinary findings: Cheese “mote”, “pargo rojo”, “patacones” and coconut lemonade.Turistas-en-la-torre-del-reloj-de-Cartagena If you want to know better the adventure in Cartagena de Indias of these travelers from Brazil, you can follow them on Instagram: @olarviajante.
