VERA

Restaurant Vera is an intimate Italian restaurant located inside the Tcherassi Boutique Hotel. Vera is extremely conscientious not only in the preparation of the food, but also in sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, which are as fresh and local as possible.

Vera makes its own the salami coppa and bresaola right in the restaurant from fresh ingredients. All cheeses (Parmigiano Reggiano, Fontina Val d’Aosta, pecorino Toscano, taleggio and gorgonzola) are imported from Italy.

The owner, Daniel Castaño worked in New York with the the famous chef, Mario Batali.  Daniel is also the head chef of Emilia Romagna in Bogota.

Consider trying the famous pescatore risotto, a dish made with Arborio rice, clams, mussels, prawns, and squid.
